Jason Patel

Jason Patel is an award nominated breakthrough multi-hyphenate artist from Manchester. Patel’s artistry became prominent noting singles One Last Dance, 6iX, and Choclafied. Gaining attention from international press the BBC named him Artist of the Week by Introducing, and Asian Network landing him a nomination for Best Music Video at The Youth Music Awards. In 2023 Pink News named Patel as one of the trailblazing artist.

His music and acting skills intertwined together in his silver screen debut co-starring with Ben Hardy in the award winning ‘Unicorns’ written and directed by Sally El-Hosaini and James Krishna Floyd. The premier of the film at TIFF23 & BFI LFF placed Patel on several best performers lists. Unicorns had an incredible festival circuit run with a UK theatrical release leading to a Netflix UK release in November  2024.

He was announced as one of Screen International’s Screen Stars of Tomorrow 2024 for not only his performance but is works an artist writing and featuring his original music in Unicorns. Most recently he became  nominated for the BIFA Breakthrough Performance award 2024. Unicorns is set to release in multiple international territories in 2025.

Patel released his first musical body of work EP ‘Delicious’ in summer 2024. He is set to appear in the BBC series ‘Virdee’ directed by Mark Tonderai, written by Amit Dhand, produced by Stella Nwimo and composed by Hans Zimmer in 2025. He is currently working on developing multiple writing projects, making new music and acting projects.
